Helping the Animals in Crisis

As cyclone Yasi was about to hit Cairns, I received notification via a friend of a friend of a friend who had lost their dog in Cairns and was desperately trying to locate him before disaster struck.

I did my part in forwarding on this message through my own circle of friends, and it wasn’t long before someone on the wonderful electronic bush telegraph managed to locate the lost labrador and return him safely home.

In a time when there are so many stories of heartache, ones with happy endings like these bring a huge smile to not only my face, but to all that were in that chain to help him be found.  So today I want to highlight that animals also need our help to recover from the floods and now Cyclone Yasi, and we can help by supporting the RSPCA QLD in three ways:

RSPCA QLD often activates Crisis Recovery Appeals, click HERE to donate.
