Don’t forget Earth Hour

LEM Image 034
On the last Saturday in March at 8:30pm, once again we will remember to turn off our lights and other switches for Earth Hour, an Australian incentive which began in 2007 when WWF (World Wildlife Fund) Australia encouraged Sydney-siders to show their commitment towards climate change action. It has now become a world-wide phenomenon where more than 135 countries and 5200 cities participate.

While on the Earth Hour website, have a look at their powerful new video and join the movement to commit to bringing about change. It will cost you no more than your commitment to your promise. Lots of interesting things under the ‘Take Action’ and ‘Celebrate The Hour’ tabs.

In our house we’ve been turning our lights off for earth hour since 2007. So go ahead make a pledge and encourage your friends to join in support of our beautiful fragile planet.

Pay it forward!
